Marketing - Ticket Sales

This is where the magic happens. Marketing the event is key, because if you don't market, no one will come. 

Crowdfunding Weekend is typically very well received by local entrepreneurial, business, arts, and other community organizations who are very willing to help get the word out by emailing their members, posting to social media, etc.

Here's a good list of the types of organizations that are willing to help promote Crowdfunding Weekends:

  • Chambers of commerce
  • Meetup groups
  • Entrepreneurial organizations
  • University business programs
  • University design programs
  • University arts programs

Press Release

Click File->Make a copy and change the red text to match your event's information and then sent it out! Sometimes people who aren't press will want a press release so they can simply forward it to their people.

1 week before the event

Once attendees have registered to the event, it is important to send them this email with instructions.

New attendees registered or not, this email will ensure the event goes smooth.

We will send the attendees a thank you message and a short survey to find ways to improve (we will Cc you to the email).
